Is it possible to split your internet cable modem near your tv tuner on notebook.?

I be hoping to get a tv tuner on my laptop, and use the same internet nouns for cable tv on my pc.

Is it possible to split your internet cable modem near your tv tuner on notebook.?

yes that should work no problem ... but u cant split an internet nouns to two modems or pcs that way ... the tv division should be fine tho ...
Assuming you have cable TV also and not merely cable internet (unlikely situation, but it is possible) then sure, no problem. Just draw from you one of those $2 splitters.
Absolutely, I do it myself.

Just make sure you seize a quality splitter that won't cut into your bandwidth.
If you own ANALOG cable TV, then you can do this by putting the splitter contained by BEFORE the line go into the cable modem, and you will need another cable between the splitter and your tuner card.

Good luck to you!
The splitter will tolerate you watch tv on the tv tuner laptop and of course on your tv. HOWEVER, you probably won't be capable of view channel in the giant range (>99) on the workstation tuner.
Yes, you can do that, I cannot put enough beat on getting a good talent splitter though. I had a hell of a time finding one that wouldn't hurt my bandwidth. If you can't find one, you can use a cable signal booster. They can be found at Radio Shack or on-line lots places.
