It say the processor comes with a fan/heatsink, should I turn ahead and buy the Zalman as well? Even though I don't plan on overclocking, I've hear this processor runs somewhat hot.

u should be ok with the stock adherent, thats what i run on my 3800 x2. if you start getting really hot (over 60c) after a few hours (check your BIOS) u should think nearly getting one. they should all be compatible as long as it's socket am2
