YES! But NOT both ddr and ddr2 at the same time. Samples below:

Sadly, a DDR RAM won't work contained by a DDR2 slot and vice a versa. I do not currently know of any mobo that has both DDR and DDR2, and frankly, I see no source why there would be such a item. If you just get a new computer that single has DDR2 slots and you hold a bunch of old DDR1 RAM chips, next start using the old RAM as bookmarks.
DDR1 go as high as 400MHz,
DDR2 starts at 400MHz
You probably can use both chips within a DDR2 motherboard, if the DDR1 is 400MHz (PC3200), but it is best to use identical memory chips within pairs to get DDR functionality
I would sugguest using individual DDR2 at the max speed that your motherboard can handle.
If you mix and clash, the system may not boot, or your memory will underclock and run only as swiftly as the slowest memory module/chip.
They make a 4 slot next to 2 DDR1 and 2 DDR2. You have to verbs or put on a jumper pin to gross whichever 2 you want to install be read by the board and drives.
