Keyboard not recognised- ponder is inconsistent the ivories port, any planning?

i enjoy tried the keyboard contained by another pc-- no problems with upright.

Would the pc recognise another port (it would appear to be a soldering opening -eek)?

would the pc recognise a usb baby grand on boot up(cant install any progs , because i cant get it started)?

can a virus do this to a notebook?(it was working, didnt obtain knocked or anything)

Any concept on booting the pc(to get passed the baby grand not attached error message)out of the window? humour

planning appreciated !!

Not worth going the soldering route...just get hold of a USB keyboard and you'll be adjectives set.
buy a new upright
Yes... try a USB keyboard.
Check for broken or bent connector pins
Set the window keyboard layout to the LAPTOP upright (usually 83 key)
