whats the model number of the adapter? Go to google.com/linux and search [model number] driver download. If you can't find it, post for backing in a linux forum site similar to linuxforums, or linuxquestions.
linux comes with most of the drivers included and it is single the matter of finding which one you have need of. Type the model number of your device(the one you gave is the serial number) into google followed by linux into it and you should receive a tutorial on how to set it up.
