I am reading the specs of Asrock AM2NF6G and its say it has a slot PCIE1 or PCI-Express Graphics Slot is this the strange standard name for PCI-Express 16x?
Thanks contained by advance
Is PCI-Express x16 is equal beside PCIE1?
The motherboard you are referring to have a x1 PCI slot on the upper left corner contained by link below and a PCIe graphics slot practical the ATX connector.

The slot appears to be x16 PCIe but there is no specific mention of x16 because it is certainly just a x8 PCIe.

BUT don't verbs. That x8 PCIe would only bottleneck/slowdown the dignified end cards but not the budget and popular cards.
To clear your doubts. Yes, the PCIE1 is the same as PCI-Express. PCIE1 is a specification for the standards. So anything that say PCIE1 is the current PCI-Express technology and not the older one which is referred to as PCI-X.
PCI-Express x16 is for graphics/video cards and the PCI-Express x1 is for newer type hardware paraphernalia such as network card ,nouns card, and such.
