Kettle lead?

Are kettle lead ok to plug into your computer,

I'm asking because i've gone through 2 PSUs in the finishing 7 months and am wondering could this have something to do beside it.

thanks.

Kettle lead?

yep kettle lead are fine

BUT if u aren't using the right fuse on the plug itself or the drain is too high on ur current one.. channel you need a better one. I use a 600 psu as standard very soon..

if you add more pci etc cards / firm drives etc the drain on the PSU maybe too much. the connector might burn out and the psu if it can't filch the drain.
Kettle leads are *just* wires. They won't be responsible for your PSUs failing.

More feasible is overloading your PSU or having a cheap computer next to a very underspecced PSU (like Gateway who imagine that 250W is enough for some desktop cases) - which comes to indistinguishable thing.

If you've get a standard case, draw from a higher power PSU... 400-500Watts or I don`t know more, depending what your failed one is.
