Is it possible to run Nvidia Graphics cards within SLI mode on a MB beside ATI Crossfire technology? If so consequently HOW?

I enjoy recently purchased a ASUS P5K Motherboard which have ATI Crossfire technology. But I have purchased a Nvidia 8800GTS 320Mb graphics card because of its actions & value over an ATI offering.I am close to getting my hands on another 8800GTS 320Mb card for a steal(My friend is upgrading to a 8800GTX,so he is selling his GTS).I would close to to buy his card but I am not sure if my MB will support SLI.Is there anyway to run 2 Nvidia cards within SLI mode on a Crossfire Motherboard. If it is possible then can anyone please speak about the procedure to go just about doing so.Thanx in mortgage..

No it is not technically supposed to be possible. In order to run within SLI you need to enjoy an nVidia chipset that supports it. I have hear rumors of people human being able to hack the drivers on the chipset and carry it working, but that obviously take a very artistic computer user, and is most likely not that stable anyway, so I would not recommend trying it.
pata nahi
