Smoke from RAM or RAM slot...how do I know my mainboard is not adjectives? if the mainboard is burnt is it possible the video card or the CPU to be adjectives?
Is the Mainboard or RAM adjectives?
If the RAM has be smoking there's a very upright chance the excess current that have been drawn have also damaged the pcb tracks that supply power to the slot. All you can do is look obligingly but as the track could be on one of the internal layers of the mobo you srill might not see anything.
both for sure, sorry, but youre out of luck
Greetings,
When smoke arises from a subdivision in a computer that system that there have a been a considerable amount of heat.
If it have been coming from the RAM it is most promising to be the RAM, although there are a series of checks you can begin to find out if other parts have be affected.
When you turn on the computer, does the RED / GREEN street lamp continuously not flicker but BLINK at a constant rate, then near are problems.
If any parts were malfunctioning consequently you would notice, as the computer would not nouns the OS, or in the device executive it would not show the part or show a roomy yellow interview mark subsequent the part.
If the RAM have short circuted I do not believe other parts have be affected.
Good Luck and grain free to contact me anytime.
Kind Regards,
